Denmark’s Forever Still will embark on a massive European tour alongside Italian godfathers of Gothic Metal Lacuna Coil. Starting off in the city of love, Paris, the new hope of Heavy Rock will be on the road over a month, travelling the northern and central continent, cross the English channel and will head over to Spain and Italy for the grand finale.

“We are beyond thrilled for this tour!”, singer Maja states. “We have wanted to visit our fans all around Europe for a long time, and this lineup with Lacuna Coil is the perfect fit. Not only am I excited to tour with a band I’ve been listening to growing up, they’re also in the top 3 of bands our fans have requested us to tour with! We really can’t wait, and I can only imagine the fans are gonna be as excited for this, as we are!”

Forever Still are a completely honest and emotional in-your-face Heavy Rock band with no excuses. The band’s wide array of brooding beats, atmospheric electronic textures, and stocky guitar riffs, all compliment vocal powerhouse Maja Shining’s emotionally revealing lyrics, which range from soft lullaby tones to scathing and aggressive full throttle screams.

Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, and consisting of Maja Shining and Mikkel Haastrup, the band has built a large fanbase by delivering breath-taking shows fuelled by a consecutive level of very high quality releases – this is no small feat, especially for a truly DIY band with no major backing.

In 2013, Forever Still released their debut EP “Breaking Free” to extensive critical acclaim and widely toured the record throughout Scandinavia. The following year the band returned to the studio to record the first of three EPs that now make up their full-length concept album “Tied Down”. The record grapples with a glut of personal issues stemming from depression, anxiety, and worthlessness, through to perseverance and recovery. The first EP picked up glowing reviews, as did the second record entitled “Save Me”. The sophomore EP was released in April 2015 and Forever Still undertook a hugely successful European tour, which saw the rockers headline their first run of UK dates.

Having returned from their latest tour, the band hit the studio again to lay down tracks for their third and final chapter in the EP trilogy. With their untamed female lead vocals and haunting melodies, this new wildfire started to spread from Denmark and is ready to burn down every shore.  Just on time for the tour, Forever Still will release their full-length debut “Tied Down” on October 21st – second day of their on stage shenanigans.
