In anticipation of their upcoming new record “Desire’s Magic Theatre”, London’s very own psychedelic flower children Purson have now announced a full tour across continental Europe and the UK.

“Desire’s Magic Theatre” draws inspiration from the rock operas of the late sixties and early seventies; musically, visually and lyrically, it touches on a variety of realms, including folk, prog, psychedelic, gothic & classic rock, making telling use of classical instruments and complex arrangements, and fully exploring the outer limits of reel to reel tape.

The successor of their highly acclaimed debut “The Circle And The Blue Door” set for release on March 25th 2016 under the Spinefarm / Machine Elf banner, supported by a headline UK tour plus selected European shows; summer festivals and visits to Australia and Japan will follow.

PURSON welcomes you to Desire’s Magic Theatre… a technicolour trip through the mind’s eye of songstress / vocalist / guitarist Rosalie Cunningham, whose signature approach to her craft stands boldly centre- stage, blending progressive dexterity and cabaret romp into a compelling, multi-faceted rock ‘n’ roll show.

Desire’s Magic Theatre draws inspiration from the rock operas of the late sixties and early seventies; musically, visually and lyrically, it touches on a variety of realms, including folk, prog, psychedelic, gothic & classic rock, making telling use of classical instruments and complex arrangements, and fully exploring the outer limits of reel to reel tape.

Says Cunningham: “Desire’s Magic Theatre has turned out to be everything I’d imagined and more! My world has been so consumed by it that I’ve barely been able to reflect on what it has become: a technicolour variety show, a playful display of the musical whims only briefly hinted at in our previous work; a psychedelic rock opera dedicated to our good friends Sarge Pepper and Zig Stardust.”

PURSON – Cunningham, George Hudson (guitars), Samuel Robinson (keyboards), Justin Smith (bass), Raphael Mura (drums) – have recently returned from a six-week tour of North America Special Guesting with GHOST, following on from a stint on the Kiss Kruise IV plus a sold-out Los Angeles debut at the notorious Viper Room.

Desire’s Magic Theatre is set for release on March 25th 2016 under the Spinefarm / Machine Elf banner, supported by a headline UK tour plus selected European shows; summer festivals and visits to Australia and Japan will follow.

The first single and video from “Dreamcrash” will be out on July 31st. Until then, enjoy this very first taste of the new album, a song we call “Crying Wolves”. Today exclusively premiered in Germany over at Visions Magazine.

Grave Pleasures VideoThose of you who have seen us live this summer already know this one – it’s one of our favourites in all its desperate glory. We hope the song – and the visuals – will take you to a place that is out of your control. Thank you for listening.

Self-styled apocalyptic post punks, GRAVE PLEASURES, were formed from the remains of the break up of BEASTMILK, who were one of the most talked-about bands in recent times. Their “painful war-cry of the eternally doomed,” as one journalist described it, resonated with fans of all music genres. BEASTMILK’s 2013 debut album “Climax” received rave reviews across the board. Metalheads, indie kids and gothic punks were all dancing to the funeral drum as the Finnish band spearheaded a new wave of rock music.

2015 marked the end of an era – and the beginning of a new – as the remaining members of the band BEASTMILK split with guitarist Johan “Goatspeed” Snell early in the year. The remainder of the group took on the name GRAVE PLEASURES, and embarked on a musical journey sure to surpass any previous efforts.

“I am an alien on my own planet looking at things from the outside in with no escape and no way out it’s hard to find a sense of what is really real”

Finnish death rockers GRAVE PLEASURES will release their new, highly anticipated album “Dreamcrash” on September 4, 2015 through Sony Music’s Columbia label. See beauty in the nightmare as the cover artwork is revealed for the first time.

GRAVE PLEASURES from Finland have set September 4, 2015 as collision date for their new album “Dreamcrash”, which will be released by Sony Music Columbia. Formed out of the debris of the band BEASTMILK – the band that had indie kids, goths, punks and the music press dancing to their highly praised debut album “Climax” in 2013 – Grave Pleasures are taking the concept of the apocalypse one step further. This time it’s personal.

GRAVE PLEASURES consists of singer/songwriter Mat McNerney (also of HEXVESSEL), bassist Valtteri Arino, guitarist/songwriter Linnéa Olsson (THE OATH, SONIC RITUAL), drummer Uno Bruniusson (IN SOLITUDE, PROCESSION) – as well as live and studio session guitarist Juho Vanhanen (ORANSSI PAZUZU).

In May of this year, this impressive line-up entered the studio together with award-winning producer Tom Dalgety (KILLING JOKE, ROYAL BLOOD).

The result is a complex and feverish set of modern rock songs. Urban tribal rhythms; potent melancholia; raw pop sensibility; irreverent ferociousness – “Dreamcrash” is seductive in its surrealism one minute, and a cold shower of harsh reality the next.

“I am concerned with a total collapse of our dreams”, says Mat McNerney. “Hacking out this feverish, frantic and very uninhibited music, it exposes and lays raw some intense emotions. As we get deeper and closer to capturing the spirit of what we set out for this band to be, we are touching some vital nerves. It’s getting under the skin, under the flesh.”

Additionally the band has just put up a video studio diary, shot in May 2015.

Starrs, Lee Dorrian, Mind Control, Mind Crawler, Monster Fotografien, Mount Abraxas, New Album, North American Tour, Poison Apple, Rise Above Records, Roadburn, Sharon Tate, The Night Creeper, Tour Dates, Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats, Yotam Rubinger

Imagine the original Alice Cooper band jamming in a cell with early BLACK SABBATH and the STOOGES, whilst sitting on murder charges and you may get a glimpse into their fuzzed up world of exploding tube amps and cymbal smashing mayhem. However, this enticing act of musical manipulation is merely the icing upon a very sick cake. From humble beginnings in the witchy flat lands of Cambridgeshire, England, UNCLE ACID & THE DEADBEATS have devolved into an international band of street creeps, burnouts and draft dodgers. Since unleashing the monumental, internationally feared and revered set of blood-curdling chainsaw anthems known as “Blood Lust”, they have been locked away in the barn ignoring all the ensuing hype and publicity, whilst preparing to deliver their own new nightmare message of madness.

Uncle Acid North America Tour Part INow the British four-piece has announced a new studio encounter, called “The Night Creeper” which will released on September 4th via Rise Above records. The celebratory THE NIGHT CREEPER TOUR will kick off with the following shows in North America before the band heads back to Europer later this year. Please check out here for all confirmed European tour dates.
